The Rasterflesh Archive
Imagine an entity from another dimension living inside the internet; the ultimate ghost in the machine, haunting computers and watching humanity through webcams. This was the premise of terminalspacepunk's Rasterflesh ARG, which ran from April to May 2008 on the Esoterica Forums. The Rasterflesh ARG sits at an interesting intersection of early grassroots ARGs, 2000s internet culture, New Age spiritual beliefs, and anxieties about the harmful potential of the internet. For too long, this ARG has been lost to time. This site is an archive of everything I've managed to recover about the project. I hope this is helpful. If anyone has any additional information or ESPECIALLY if you have an actual archive of the videos please get in touch.

07/21/15: Been thinking about giving up the search. Feels like it's just me and Eddie these days. I'll keep checking the email though.
03/10/15: Some asshole emailed me pretending to have an archive of one of the original videos. But he was just trolling. Pisses me off. This actually matters to some people, you know???
10/31/14: Happy halloween! No new info.
07/02/14: Another weird email from the gamejacker. Getting really sick of this.
04/12/14: Finally tracked down an active account belonging to limewarrior8472x from the original forum thread and got in touch. No new info.
02/08/14: Realized I should have been doing update posts this whole time so people would know when stuff changes. Sorry. Gonna do my best from now on! Search for new info is pretty slow going these days though so don't expect much.
